HEAT PUMPS
At Farwest Climate Control we carry efficient and reliable American Standard heat pumps that are ranked a winner in consumer rating magazines. Heat pumps do the job of an air conditioner and a furnace. However, unlike a furnace, it doesn't burn fuel to make heat. A heat pump uses electricity to move heat from one place to another. Heat pumps are an energy efficient way to cool your home in the summer and heat it in the winter. Heat pumps efficiencies are measured through SEER ( Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) and HSPF (Heating Seasonal Performance Factor). The higher the rating, the more efficient the unit and the more money you save. All of our heat pumps satisfy or exceed minimum government SEER and HSPF standards.
Our Ultimate model is a Heritage 18 made by American Standard. It is the top of the line. The Heritage 18 ends temperature swings and provides super quiet, efficient operation for long term savings. It's dual compressors provide two stage heating and cooling, which removes moisture from the air and conserves energy. It's all-aluminum coil provides very low airflow resistance and greater heat transfer capabilities and it is more resistant to corrosion and leaks than traditional copper/aluminum coils. The Heritage 18 has a variable speed fan motor designed to fit your cooling requirements.
Our Premium models the Heritage 16 and 14 have a coil made of thousands of tiny spines to provide more surface area which adds greater heat transfer capabilities. The Heritage 16 has a two-step single compressor providing two stages of cooling. The Heritage 14 is a single stage compressor.
All models come with steel louvered panels to protect your unit from the weather outdoors, a corrosion resistant finish that prevents rust and blends with any architectural style or landscape, a durable basepan that will not crack, warp, corrode, or rust. The also include a recessed fan grille to protect you from moving parts, rust resistant screws, and compressor sound insulators to contribute to a more peaceful home environment.
All models come with a 10-year limited warranty on compressor and coil, 5-year limited warranty on all other parts. An optional extended 10-year warranty on parts and labor is also available to you through Farwest Climate Control.
