Farwest Climate Control was founded in 1982 by Bob Melton in Yakima, WA. Bob developed a great customer-oriented approach that helped grow the business from one truck to the many on the road today! His commitment to making each project the most important allowed Farwest to set itself apart from other companies with in the Yakima Valley.
American Standard Brand dealer since 2002.
We have been a dealer of American Standard Brand equipment since 2002 and have been awarded the American Standard Customer Care Dealer status since 2006. We are currently one of the only American Standard Customer Care Dealers in Central Washington, maintaining that status by having a 95% customer satisfaction rating.
In 2024, the company was purchased by new local owners.
Burt Ross has guided the company’s HVAC operations and is still maintaining the customer centric approach that made Farwest an industry leader. Sonny Graf merged his electrical company of over 15 years (Graf electric) and created Farwest Electric. With the development of an electrical and HVAC company Farwest is looking to provide even more serves for our customers moving into the future.
